Megazine is a personal project put out by me! I worked with Rebecca Siminov to photograph recipes from my childhood.
I painted backdrops, made food, prop styled and designed this zine. Excited to publish 2 a year until I'm sick of it. :)
Working on this (62 page!!) zine for Joy The Baker has been the most fun I’ve had in a minute. Loved the idea of taking a very outdoorsy thing and contrasting it with bright neons and cute graphics. I’m not much of a camper, but I’d make all these recipes in the comfort of my own home. Excited for more projects like this to come!
I styled and photographed the menu for Basil Babe! A Thai restaurant that just opened officially this year in Ypsilanti, MI. I love how the photos look on the menu as a group and I’m grateful for this experience to really do whatever I wanted and bejewel shrimp.
The winter collection at Bon Bon Bon is a super festive box of chocolates that honestly I just wanted to nestle in iridescent tinsel and style with really literal items and make mini Yule logs with Lil Debs. It happened! And I love it.

I did a complete brand re-design and website from scratch for FCCI. Was such a delight. Check out the cutest site right here.
I am officially my own boss! I’m freelance now and Hilo Life is one of my clients. I’ve been using the tasty crunch cheese and nut snack packs in recipes and definitely compared them to crystals and photoshopped tarot cards to be more keto friendly.

I photographed a few Street Beet menu items with tons of color, geometric shapes and glitter because…. it’s cool!
Are you familiar with Rebel Nell? They are a jewelry company that makes one-of-a-kind pieces using graffiti in and around Detroit, and if that isn't cool enough, their goal has always been to employ women facing barriers to employment in Detroit, educate them on financial management, life wellness and entrepreneurship, and empower them to transition to a life of independence. Can't think of a better reason to invest in some unique accessories. Love working with companies like this!
All images styled and photographed by Me.
I had a food blog from June 2009 - 2017. I’m still really proud of it and I keep it up because who knows if I’ll add recipes again! And you KNOW these are my staple recipes that I use all the time. All photos are of food I made, photographed and styled.
I’m volunteering graphic design/content creating for The Free Black Women’s Library Detroit and it’s so rewarding! It’s really fun to learn while designing about so many brilliant black women!
The spring collection at Bon Bon Bon is usually floral themed, for spring reasons. We worked with Pot + Box to show the chocolates with the prettiest flowers, leaves and air plants. I paired the organic blooms with different fabric textures and vibrant shades and geometric shapes to create the range of colors and shapes in this series.

The Valentine’s Collection is the biggest one that Bon Bon Bon puts out every year. This year I opted for minimal props. I used patterned printouts, iridescent acrylic and painted backdrops overplayed with the Bonfont (by Michael Burdick) to market the hell out of it.

My prism rainbow holographic dreams came true with the Bon Bon Bon Rainbow Collection! Each flavor was inspired by color from Lou Mooner (blue moon ice cream and sugar cone) to Pretzel Berry Crunch (made to remind us all of that pretzel jell-o “salad” at every church picnic) and don’t even get me started on the Nanner Puddin’ Bon. Tasted EXACTLY like Banana Pudding with Nilla wafer custard and Brins Banana Jam. I bought supplies for this shoot like colorful acrylic squares, glitter paper, and lots of prisms. The sun was on our side for this shoot as far as the sparkle goes, but some of the chocolate def wanted to melt before the shoot was over.

This year when I styled the New Order Coffee Roasters drinks I wanted to introduce patterns and some bright primary colors. Got super into using food as a platform and painted squares of wood for each to create a geometric focal point as a background.

I teamed up with Bruegger’s Bagels to develop a few recipes for using their season products. I grilled pizza bagels, made pumpkin bagel bread pudding (with caramel and whipped cream) and Greek chicken salad using their cucumber dill cream cheese. I would make them all again. I miss that bread pudding that I photographed on my porch in that good morning light.
I collaborated with Stella Artois to bring back Sunday Dinner! I made veggie lasagna and crescent rolls and went mini golfing and had more Stella later on. Find the full blog post here.
I made 3 versions of Barilla pasta salad that I think about and crave all the time. Find the full post here.
I rarely have leftover banana bread, but when I do, I hit up one of these three recipes. Find Betty Crocker post here.
The ✨new✨ Midtown Bon Bon Bon Showroom opened In October 2019. The design was modeled after our signature red/pink combo and mimicking the rounded edges of our logo by Michael Eugene Burdick. The glowing pink sign is so perfect! And the countertops made of a speckled plastic like terrazzo made by Thing Thing is the perfect way to incorporate a lil bit of black and yellow into the space. The flavor cards were redesigned to use the new Bon Bon Bon font and to incorporate the allergies on the bottom of the front of the card in a small typeface if needed.
I had fun making these cute lil beverages with some La Croix flavors. Wanted to make them the most fun and colorful as possible! And definitely delicious.

For every seasonal collection release, I planned and designed the window displays for Bon Bon Bon’s 2 (now 3!) locations. My favorite thing to do is mockup the design and work with Laser Ray’s to see it through.
I planned, designed and scheduled newsletters to go out to promote events or new collection releases or promo codes. My intention with every newsletter was to have one message that could be reached by clicking anywhere on the image. Make it as easy as possible for people and not overwhelming at all.
The Mac & Cheese collection is a fake collection put out April Fool’s 2019 and honestly, people really wanted it for real.
